3 Step Procedure To Building Your Online Business.

Starting your own online business really isn't as difficult or expensive as you might think.

The purpose of this article is to prove it!

Before I tell you exactly what you have to do to get started I must make one point very clear.

You MUST have your own website! Every successful marketer on the web and I mean EVERY successful marketer has a website!

There's no need to be afraid of setting up your own website. I'll explain the "3 step procedure" to you in simple and plain english. You might not have a clue how to "design" your site. That will be taken care of too. In the "3 steps" you get your own basic site which can be redesigned and customized.

As this report is a practical "hands on" guide to starting an online home business I've picked one company in particular which meets the requirements of getting "beginners" started. I've researched similar companies but have yet to find one that "puts it all together" like this one!

Push Button Publishing has proven to be a first choice. Not only for getting started but also in providing products and marketing resources necessary to build and expand an online business.

Bearing that in mind here's the procedure to get started:

3 step procedure to building your online business.

* Step 1 - setting up your website.

* Step 2 - setting up your shop.

* Step 3 - site promotion and list building.

Step One - setting up your website.

As I mentioned earlier it's vital you have your own website with your own domain name.

The cost for website hosting, site and newsletter setup is in the monthly Push Button Publishing membership fee of $27. Plus domain name registration $9.99 per year (for a .com domain name)

You could easily pay $60-80 per month for web hosting, autoresponders, list hosting, and ad tracking alone. Push Button Publishing just gets started there! The other things you get as a member never ceases to amaze me!

As far as setting up your website goes. This is what you get:

FREE website hosting with 5dollarwebs.com You get the 'real deal' not just a site for "freebies"! Your site stays free for as long as you stay a member of Push Button Publishing!

FREE website and newsletter setup. Included are 5 first class affiliate programs ready to earn money for you.

Included is a first rate newsletter with the "built in" autoresponder from Push Button Publishing.

Web site setup, Affiliate programs, Newsletter and Articles are all in the brand new Push Button Income program.

Bryan Winters of Push Button Publishing supplies step by step instructions on setting up your web site. Or if you prefer to have someone do it for you he supplies that alternative too.

Step Two - setting up your 'shop'.

If you've got your own product e.g. ebook or software or even something non-digital then you're going to need a "killer" sales page.

You'll also need a merchant account with a company that can handle credit card payments online.

An excellent choice is 2CheckOut.com which I use myself and as an alternative payment method Paypal or Stormpay.

If you don't have your own product and you're a Push Button Publishing member then you're laughing! About 80 digital products (ebooks and software) and still counting are waiting to be downloaded and sold! All of them with resell rights. Most of them with a ready made sales page!(Of course you can use each and every product yourself too!)

You can put links in your newsletter for the sales pages or set up a "shop" page.

All links should point to the corresponding sales page. Once there you can take a good look at what the product has to offer and then order and download.

Push Button Publishing also has you covered if you prefer to sell non-digital goods with "The Wholesale Product Locator™"! The procedure for selling these goods is much the same as with digital goods.

Step Three - site promotion and list building.

Submit your site to the search engines. Google is the biggest and most important one. Even then it can take months before your site gets entered into the search engine database.

To speed things up a bit I suggest you register your site in the Open Directory Project http://www.dmoz.org. This helps because most search engines refer to their database.

There are ways to optimize your site. As a member of Push Button Publishing you have access to ebooks and software to help you do this.

You can promote your site using the "pay per click" method offered by most search engines. With this method you bid for certain keywords which will position your ad on the relevant search result pages. The advantage of this method is you only pay for actual "click throughs" to your site.

Another way to get a good ranking is to use "Lycos' Insite" paid inclusion.

Remember the newsletter in step one? Well this is a powerful sales tool if you have the subscribers to read it!

The 3 best choices to get subscribers fast are:

Getresponse - You can start with 200 subscribers for $69.95

Leadfactory - Starts at 500 subscribers for $150

Hiplists - Starts at 1000 subscribers for $120. (Very good value for money!)

Compare that with the price of advertising. The only advertising worth considering is buying a SOLO AD in a good quality ezine with at least 10.000 subscribers. The more subscribers the more you pay for the AD!

SOLO ADS in this category will cost you anything from $50.00 to $100!

Your aim must be to build your mailing list! Remember the newsletter? That is what will get you your mailing list!

If you're selling just one specific product or affiliate program and don't have a newsletter then SOLO ADS is the right way to go! But if you don't get the email address it's a one time sale every time! You can't go back to these people and sell them something else.

A good mailing list is the key to building a steady customer base!
