How in the world did I get this feeling in my job? I think I got it because I don't have enough to do. I have completed my necessary tasks, but I have time left over, which causes me to be bored.
I know that all jobs have some boredom connected with them, maybe I can call those times of boredom, just tedium.
Now I feel that I have to find a way to reduce the boredom I feel while working. (You, as reader, please follow my list of remedies).
First, I will ask for more assignments. I will complete them and my other taks in a timely manner.
Secondly, I will volunteer for more complicated assignments and finish them too.
Thirdly, I will use more of my free time away from the job to engage myself in fun activities.
In fourth place, if I find that I cannot broaden the job to meet more of my needs, I will inquire and look in other departments to look for a job that meets more of my wants and needs. Maybe, I'm bored because the job and I are mis- matched.
Finally, I will talk to someone who can guide me to find the answer to my perpetual boredom. Maybe I'm bored about being bored! IF my job expectations are too high, then I will be more assertive to find lots of work for my restless\ spirit.
