For Vancouver Canucks fans, the holidays are about many things and among them, is the exciting Canucks Superskills Competition. The McDonalds-sponsored annual local event, features real Vancouver Canucks players and sixteen minor leaguers showcasing their talents on the ice, in five exciting hockey competitions, including: hardest shot, fastest skater, accuracy shooting, breakaway relay and puck control relay.

This year’s contest will feature all of your favorite Canucks from the 2008-09 NHL regular season and proceeds will go to the Canucks for Kids Fund, the NHLPA Goals & Dreams Fund, Ronald McDonald House B.C., KidSport B.C. and the Luc Bourdon Memorial Fund. The first 10,000 ticket-holders through the doors will receive a special team photo card and those who come early, will also have an opportunity to have their photo taken with the famous Stanley Cup.
