You did what the "guru's" told you, didn't you?
You tailored your ads to your "targeted" audience, and placed them exactly where that audience would be sure to see them.
Right So Far?
If you're wondering why your marketing isn't producing the results you were after, maybe it's time to diversify your advertising.
What?
I know, this flies in the face of all that is natural and proper, but consider for a minute. If all you do is aim for a particular market, aren't you just "preaching to the choir?"
Now, if you want to sell fishing gear, you're certainly better off to target fishing enthusiasts. But, if you're trying to entice people to join your opportunity, or pony up to buy web space or site design, you need to range a farther field.
If you only target the “Biz Op” community, you're swimming in a sea of lemmings. (Way to mix my metaphors).
That's why those companies that sell ID plates and bumper stickers are doing such a brisk business. Outside of our rather small Biz Op community, people have no clue that they can be making money online.
There is your "target audience!"
